Bron-Y-Garn Coronavirus (COVID 19) Update
Thank you to everyone in our community for working together and protecting each other through maintaining physical distancing, good hand hygiene and staying at home as much as possible.
It has been hard but your commitment to this is appreciated. Here at Bron-Y-Garn we are here to help you get all the care you need. It is important not to leave it too late. We may be able to deal with your problem by phone, video or online using e-consult so please get in touch with us.
If you visit the surgery you will be asked to wear a face covering, whether this be a scarf, homemade mask or even a bandana. Wearing a face covering helps to reduce the spread of coronavirus from anyone who is infected but isn’t yet showing symptoms. Evidence suggests wearing a face covering does not protect you, but may protect others if you are infected with coronavirus.
We would like to thank Babette and rest of the team at Fairfield Sewing Group for their incredible work with making masks and scrubs bags, we are very appreciative.
Your Visit to the Surgery
If you do have to visit the surgery, this should be by appointment only. You will notice a few changes. Our waiting room has been spaced out for social distancing and we are limiting the number of patients in at any one time. In some circumstances you may be asked to wait in your car until there is space in our waiting room. We have a new flow through the surgery, our entrance is through the front door and exit through the back side door. You may see new signs and hand gel stations. Our nurses and doctors will also be in personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect both you and us, but we are just as friendly!
