Book an Appointment

Urgent appointments for today or tomorrow (Monday to Friday)

If you are unwell and feel you need to be seen on the same day, please call the surgery on 01656 754200.

A doctor will assess your condition and, if appropriate, arrange an urgent same-day appointment.

Book a routine appointment

Due to current demand our wait for a routine Appointment is up to 3 weeks.

Patients have the option to book a routine appointment in the ways previously outlined and can select how they prefer to be consulted (face to face, telephone or video).

We also have web appointments available for booking online and are available in advance.

Due to the current wait we advise that anything routine needing to be seen within a certain timeframe needs to be booked up in advance.

Routine appointments such as travel health, contraception, or request for extra medication to be ordered prior to going on holiday needs to be booked in advance to allow time to complete.

Reception staff are experienced in local services and can offer a comprehensive knowledge of alternative services available including physio self-referral, pharmacy minor ailment schemes and cluster-based services. They can also refer to third sector care navigators for complex needs and advice.

Ways to book

  1. Request an appointment online
  2. Telephone: 01656 754200
  3. Face to face at the desk
  4. Walk in at baby clinic
  5. The NHS Wales App

Sickness certificates (fit notes)

You must give your employer a doctor's 'fit note' (sometimes called a 'sick note') if you've been ill for more than 7 days in a row and have taken sick leave. This includes non-working days, such as weekends and bank holidays.

Visit our Sickness Certificates page

Home Visits

Home visits are for patients too ill or too disabled to attend surgery.

If possible, requests should be made between 8:30am and 11am.

It is a great help to the doctors if the degree of urgency of a home visit is indicated as this allows doctors to prioritise their visits.
