Nursing Team

Our Practice Nurse Team at Bron-Y-Garn is held together with Jayne, Jacki and Zoe. They support you in chronic disease which includes conditions such as Asthma, COPD and Diabetes. They are trained for Spirometry, ear syringing and foot assessments which aid diabetic checks. They are able to support with women’s health issues which include cervical screening and contraception. The Practice Nurse team are trained to take blood samples, ECGS, blood pressure, removal of sutures, wound care, immunisations; such as flu vaccines, shingles and pneumococcal vaccines along with a weekly Baby Clinic.

They also aid within the coil clinic and minor surgery.

Our Team promote health education and diet advice through clinics and also happy to aid in information regarding Travelling and Travel immunisations.

We are also promoting our online platform which can be used for routine asthma, hypertension and contraception reviews.

Our Health Care Assistant Team Helen and Cheryl supports the Nursing Team. They both are trained in taking blood samples, ECG's, blood pressure and also help support wound care. They aid in taking blood samples for methotrexate and other medication that needs regular monitoring.
